Road Trip! Lézignan-Corbieres

On the road we go! We headed south about 250 miles.

We're staying at a little bed and breakfast.

Not the most exciting place I've ever seen!

That corner building is it.

I wonder what's behind the door?

A secret Garden!  What a nice surprise!

All the guests gathered to chat before dinner.

The man with the red apron is the owner. He is asking everyone what their plans are for tomorrow. He is not very impressed with my aunt's plans. He thinks it is too far to travel for the day and suggests activities that are interesting and much closer.

I don't think she is totally convinced!

Our stay here includes dinner. We all sat together at the table and it was set with our salads already.

The salad had roasted zucchini, eggplant, red and yellow peppers, and fresh tomatoes on a bed of lettuce.

Look at all the colors on the table! It was very pretty.

The main dish was a cassoulet; a bean stew with sausage and duck.

After, there was cheese which I chose not to eat so I didn't get a picture if it. (Sorry!) The dessert was a lavender cream with merange and a drizzle of caramel.

It's pretty isn't it? I couldn't finish it all because lavender is a very specific smell and taste. While it was nice it was a little too strong for me!

Below are a few pictures of our room. When I get back to my computer (I am posting from my iPhone) I will try to post a video!

Behind that purple curtain is the toilet.
Not real sure how I feel about that.

I am not sure what tomorrow's adventures will bring but if I take pictures I'll be sure to share!
