London Whirlwind!

Saying goodbye to family is harder than it looks!
Thank you so much for giving your student such a wonder opportunity and entrusting myself and my co-chaperones with their care! Each of us believes deeply in the value of travel and it is our hope your children will come home with a new appreciation of the world!

After we said goodbye we passed through security and loaded the plane. As you can see we were excited. this is the Waters family's first vacation! Is it fear or joy on our faces??

As you can see we were all ready to start the adventure!

After arriving safely at Heathrow we had to go through customes.

The only good thing is that we are in London!

The first dinner in London was a yummy chicken pot pie with mashed potatoes and gravy.

After dinner we went to the Soho area and walked around the shops.

We also went to see Picadilly Circus! Ten we headed back to the hotel for a much needed good nights sleep!

On Wednesday we began our tour routine. Wake up at 7 am. Breakfast at 7:45 and on the bus at 8:30. Then we began our day. We started with a bus tour of London. The tour ended at Buckingham palace and we were able to catch a part of the changing of the guard.

We made our donations to Starbucks!

We went to Trafalgar Square and met the lions!

We continued our day by going to Tower Hill where we were able to see the Crown Jewels (no pictures allowed! But trust me they were stunning!), we saw the London Bridge too.

After our traditional Fish and Chips dinner some went to see the musical Wicked on the west end, some went to the London Eye, and the rest of us went on a Harry Potter walking tour.

On the "Muggle Bridge" and listening to our guide:

Our last morning in London we had free time and kids went shopping in the Camden Market

Others went to the London Eye and Westminister Abbey. Then we met back up at the St Pancras station to take the Eurostar to Paris!

Next stop Paris!!
